The kids and I started the summer off with a trip to the sno cone shack! Charlotte definitely won the colored tongue contest!
While the kids were staying at the Seeger's so Brian and I could go to my grandpa's funeral, they came up with a brilliant idea for a Sno Cone Challenge! There is about 100 flavors at our favorite sno cone place....so with 10 people in our combined families, we could try all 100 flavors in just 10 trips to the shack! We went in order of age and you just got whatever flavor was next on the list. Then we all got samples of everyone's to test them all. We gave it our best effort!! Spoiler alert: we fell a little short. Hey, summer gets busy! We also had to get a little lax and break our rule of everybody has to be there. And we were seriously all so sick of sno cones by the end!! And there are some real bad flavors out there. The workers all got to know us as "that group!" The real bummer was we were getting punch cards for every visit....10 stamps for a freebie. So our plan was to save them all up and go at the end of summer to get a free LARGE size (since we'd only been getting smalls) of your favorite. But as you can see from the last picture, we were ONE SHORT!! Maybe next summer?!
