All the cousins were super stoked to do our first (annual?) Cousin Cupcake Wars! Poor Spencer and Tyler had to leave the day before... We chose the theme, "Cousin Week" and the teams got busy planning and making their 3 from-scratch cupcakes, using at least 3 ingredients from "Grandma's Pantry." They were adorable! All the decorations were centered around activities we had done for "cousin week." And they were yummy! The judges, Kacee, Grandma, Grandpa, and me, were very impressed. So impressed that we couldn't pick just one winner! We gave out 8 different awards for various categories. Yeah, that didn't go over very well as they all wanted to know who WON!
After the cupcake wars, we left them to hang while we had our adults dinner & dessert out! That picture of Brian and me with our sorbet cones is hilarious because our swirling style is very indicative of our personalities! And then we picked up the prize for cupcake wars....a GIANT Twix bar!!
