Masen and Quinlan got married on Friday, May 13 in Portland. My mom rented a big lodge out in Hillsboro (right outside of Portland) for all of us to stay in. So we drove over on Thursday so we'd be ready for wedding and reception fun on Friday. This place was gorgeous! The kids had a blast running around and the weather was absolutely perfect. The day of the wedding it was almost 90 degrees! The Carlson's flew in Friday morning, so the kids were all excited. Bonus cousin time! The reception was that night out in the barn of the lodge. It was so pretty and everyone had a great time.
The next day was Saturday, and several families decided to drive over to Cannon Beach. It was about an hour or so away. Of course, the day we're going to the beach was cold and rainy! It seriously dropped like 25 degrees that day! But the beach was awesome. And the kids loved seeing the ocean and running around. We got back that evening for some dinner and a few rounds of Bean Boozled (yuck!) Then the next day, we got up and drove home! A quick trip, but I was so glad we were there. We took Rex along, and the kids were very excited to be in on the fun of posing Rex in various different locations.
Then a couple weeks after the Porland shindig, they had a reception in Eagle. Glad we could make it to both! Congratulations to the happy couple!!
