Our Sandpoint trip was a little later this summer, so we'd had lots of time to get excited! We hit the road Friday morning armed with lots of movies, car surprises, and treats! The kids did great. It is definitely becoming an easier drive.
We got there a little before dinner time, and the kids couldn't wait to get in the lake! We forced some food down them, and then let them take their first lake bath of the trip. There were many more lake baths as the week continued.... (none by me, of course, but even Charlotte got in on the action a time or two).
