The very day we drove back from Garden Valley, the Carlsons got into town!! Unfortunately, while in Garden Valley Carson got a touch of the flu. (Seriously! Why do my children get sick at holidays and special events!?) He had recovered by the time we got home, but then it was Aubrey's turn. With the cousins around, she didn't let it stop her too much. And then, of course, Charlotte and Ruby both took a turn! Ugh.
But we got right to the planning, and by the next day, we were up and running!!
Day 1 we went to Grinkers....an old-school indoor arcade. Kids liked it, and I got to show off my mad Frogger skills.
Day 2 was a big day. Masen was coming home from his mission!!! Kyle made everyone matching shirts and Ella and Aubrey made an adorable candy bar poster. We were all waiting at the airport for a very emotional homecoming. Everyone was so excited to see him! It definitely took him a couple days to readjust to "normal" life, but it was really great to have him home.
