The year of the friend parties. Enough said. I stewed and fretted about what to do for Carson's party, where to go, who to invite, etc, etc. for months! It's so crazy because it's not like it was a "hard" party, but for some reason it just really stresses me out! But he decided he wanted to invite 8 boys from his class and the neighborhood and go to Jump Time. I decided I didn't want to pay the ridiculous party fee at Jump Time. So instead, we had all the boys meet at our house after school, we loaded up and headed to Jump Time. We jumped for an hour or so and then came back to our house for pizza, cake and ice cream and presents.
Speaking of cake, Beth came over the morning of Carson's birthday and we worked the ENTIRE day to make that masterpiece! I'm afraid that Beth has really upped my cake game, and I'm not sure I can keep up this pace! :) However, the look on Carson's face when he came home and saw the cake was pretty awesome. I'm not sure if he was that excited for the cake or for the Disney Infinity characters on the cake, but still. The cake was awesome, the party was super fun, and he loved it all!
