The first morning we were in Sandpoint, Brian had signed us up for a charity walk across the Long Bridge. His friend Nathan helps organize the walk to benefit those in Sandpoint affected by cancer. It's a great cause, and it was a fun morning. He talked the whole family into doing it!
At Grandma Jane's funeral in January, we got to see Brian's cousins, Michael and Stephanie, that don't live close. We talked a lot about how fun it would be to get all our families together at the cabin. Because they live so far away, their kids have never been to the cabin. Well this summer, we made it happen. They all flew in and actually rented a house a couple miles from the cabin (the cabin definitely would definitely not sleep all of us). But we spent a lot of time just hangin at the cabin and enjoying the lake. Our kids were in heaven! It was so much fun to spend time with them.
