This year for my annual girls trip, we decided to head to Seattle. Missy lives right outside of Seattle and since she had a daughter getting married in a couple months (um, yeah, we're apparently that old), we thought we'd come to her this time. So Kallee and I flew in on a Friday late morning. We did a little eating and shopping, got pedicures, and then headed to Missy's house to hang for the first night. Husbands should really never be allowed to see us on these girls trips....they officially think we're crazy! Ha!
The next morning, we were up bright and early to catch the ferry to the San Juan Islands. We stayed on Orcas Island at a sweet resort called the Rosario. It was so beautiful there!! It was a little colder than Kallee or I had anticipated, so we may have worn the same pants and sweat shirts for two days! We went on an amazing hike (Mountain Lake), we soaked in the hot tub, we shopped and ate some more, and of course laughed until our faces hurt (and Missy almost peed)! It was hard to leave the next day!
We headed back to Seattle where we hit up a Sounder game. Fun! Then stayed overnight downtown. The next day we were up and sightseeing....the Space Needle, the Chihuly exhibit (so cool!), and then down to Pike Place Market. So much fun!! I know I say this every year, but this trip always comes at such a perfect time. Just when I need some relaxation and a recharge! Love these girls and LOVE our girls trips!!
