We had about two weeks after we moved in before school started! I had to put these first two pictures in.....the kids had a BLAST playing at the new house when we first moved in!! It was like Christmas unpacking all their toys that had been in storage for five months!
Then the day came.....the first day of school. The kids were super excited, and a little nervous. Actually Aubrey was a lot nervous. We had decided that she would move schools this year, and no longer come with me to Discovery. We figured if we're living in this new neighborhood, with the school right down the road, it would be best for the kids to attend their home school. I was/still am sad that they're not with me at my school, but I know that this is best for them. We want them to have friends in the neighborhood, and that only comes from going to the neighborhood school. Also, on my days off the 2 minute drive, 5 minute bike ride, or 10 minute walk to their school is pretty sweet!!
Anyway, here they are.....off to SECOND grade and KINDERGARTEN!! So far they are loving it!! They've each made some friends and are always excited to go each morning. And although getting back into the schedule/routine has been a bit rough (ornery, tired kids!), we're almost over the hump and I'm so glad they love school!!
Charlotte....poor, poor Charlotte.....talks everyday about when she gets to go to school....

Ah, you can tell that they're nervous in those last two pictures!! So glad they're loving it.
