Exhaustion...

That is the word to describe our September.  After a whirlwind end to summer, moving, and starting school, we were totally exhausted.  As always, getting the kids (okay and me) back into the school schedule and routine is tough!!  The kids (okay and me) are just not used to being "on" all day (or half day) at school.  And as a teacher, the first month of school is so hard.  Exhausting is really the only word to describe it.  And Charlotte, although she wasn't starting school, really took some time to adjust to the new house....mostly the sleeping in a new house and room thing.    

But, we made it!  Just a couple pictures/events to mark the month.  (As I was downloading some pictures a while back I noticed a serious lack of pictures in September!  We went from taking 250 pictures in August, to 8 in September!! Did I mention we were exhausted!?)

The weather in September was really nice!  It has been so awesome to live close enough to the kids' school to be able to walk or bike them to and from school.  However, this day pictured was not so awesome as Carson realized he had a flat as we left the school....in the heat of the day.  

A couple pictures of the Fall Carnival that the kids' school puts on.  They were super excited to go!  And it was a pretty fun night.  

And then just a darling picture of Charlotte.  She is in such a fun, absolutely hilarious stage.  Of course, she can throw a fit with the best of them (okay, maybe not Carson-worthy, but still good), but mostly she is just sweet and seriously cracks us up!!  Little Bunny.
