We made it! We survived the process of building a home. These pictures go from the middle of June to move in date....August 13. It was so fun to watch the transformation! The last month or so, although the changes were a little slower, it was so cool to see all the stuff we had picked out being put into the actual house! Brian and I were taking almost nightly trips over to see the day's progress. I remember thinking how weird it was that we were going to be soon actually LIVING in this house that we've been checking in on for months. And I clearly remember going over one night right after the power got turned on, and thinking this is really going to be our home.
So after we got back from Sandpoint, we barely had time to unpack before we were loading up the Uhaul and MOVING IN! Thank goodness my sister and brother in law were still in town. We put those Carlson's to work!! We got everything moved in, and then started the HUGE job of unpacking! Again, thank goodness we have family close....soooo much help from the Jensen's and my mom. Moving with little kids is for the birds!!
But we are in! The last couple pictures show the house right before we started moving our stuff in. And then a couple pics of just the beginning of organizing and decorating.....oh my. Still sooooo much to do. But we are in! And we are loving it. We are so extremely grateful for the space. And it's so new and pretty. Brian and I have been a bit paranoid about scratches on the new floors, or dents in the walls, or scuffs on the molding, etc, etc. Hopefully that will calm down soon. But we LOVE the house, love the neighborhood, love the new school (for the kids), and love not having to think about moving again for a loooooong time.

It's such a beautiful house. I'm so glad you have it!!!! Fun to see all the pictures of the progress, too. My girls are already planning a sleepover in that toyroom or mega-bedroom upstairs!!
Gorgeous!! And you know I love that organized drawer.
love your house so much!!
