The cabin has a "high dive" on the end of the dock that is kind of a rite of passage. (I remember when Brian and I were in college and would go there it was peeing off the high dive....probably not appropriate.) So Brian has told the kids that if they climb up the high dive the rule is you have to jump.....no climbing down. They both really wanted to try it, but of course were pretty nervous (it's HIGH!). So Carson was the first to climb up. He decided he'd try it with Brian! JUMP! He said it was fun and scary. He did not do it again. It took Aubrey a couple days to get up the nerve (it was actually our last day there). It was quite a source of anxiety for her until she finally just did it! I don't think she was scared so much of the height as the COLD water....can you really blame her?!
And Brian showing his stuff!
S'MORES! These are a common treat the week we're at the cabin. The weather was SOOOO nice this year (yay!) and stayed nice into the evenings. It made for some good nights with yummy s'mores! We also overlapped Scott and Jenn's week in Sandpoint this year, so it was really fun to get to hang out with them and Brooklyn and Isla up there. We were also able to do big family pictures while we were all there.....pics to come.
