Every year the cousins create some play or dance or performance of some kind to show all the adults (all on their own I might add). This year, it was a water show titled Water Works! They spent hours coming up with the routine and rehearsing (this is usually where they lose Carson). And finally they were ready for the performance. And oh my goodness, it was so awesome! They had synchronized moves and jumps and dives and squirting fountains. It was hilarious and adorable.
At the very beginning of the show, Aubrey introduced everyone and announced, "Welcome to Water Works!" Then at the end, all the kids took turns jumping off the jumping rock and saying something to Grandma and Grandpa. Aubrey started it off by saying how thankful they all were that G and G have had this awesome pool for them to enjoy for so many years. It really was so sweet because they really meant it....they have loved this pool and know it's been a lot of time and money to keep up. But it was kind of funny because of course they are selling the house and pool, and so the guilt was being laid on thick! Ha! But the show was amazing, and we all have really loved having this pool and this backyard!
