The year of friend parties is about to be done...hallelujah!!
Aubrey decided she wanted to do a cake decorating party. It ended up being a little last minute due to another friend's party, so we busted it out in about 3 days. Several of the girls couldn't come because it was such short notice, but it ended up that the six girls was perfect. Any more would have been pure chaos! The party prep was pretty intense....cake baking, fondant making, frosting making, frosting coloring, cake leveling and stacking, cake plate making, and decorating. But the party was super fun! Beth and I gave a few lessons on some decorating techniques, and then the girls went nuts. They worked on those cakes forever! And I thought they turned out great. Then the cake we were giving lessons on became the birthday cake they all ate!
After cake decorating, we played some games, ate dinner, and opened presents. They had a ton of fun, and birthday party number 3 = check!
