The girls always look forward to shopping day with the cousins. The Carlson girls from Texas tell people their favorite place to shop is the Boise Mall! And we hit it hard again this year. We ditched Carson to hang at Brian's office (he complains way too much and his shopping takes 30 minutes at the Nike store). We hit Old Navy, Olive Garden for lunch, and then the mall! In addition to getting school clothes, Charlotte started asking if she could get her ears pieced this summer! Even though I thought she was a little young, she was very persistent and really wanted all the cousins there. So I caved and let her. She was so brave. Sat up there without a fuss, made a bit of a face while they pierced, but that was about it. After they quickly showed her the mirror and she could see the earrings, she was fine. Although she still says, "It hurt a lot more than I was expecting!" But she looks adorable and too old. And so far, she's taking really good care of them and being very responsible.
I also included the Roaring Springs pictures. Even thought it is also one of our biggest days, we don't take a lot of pictures. We're too busy getting soaked on the rides!! It's also about the only time I let me kids get a Dippin Dots. "It's tradition!" they say...
