The title pretty much says it all!
The trip to the aquarium was a hit. They had expanded quite a bit since the last time we went, and the kids had a great time!
We only made it once for half-price shakes at Sonic, but they were thoroughly enjoyed.
Because there was lots of open space and dirt (no yard) at my mom's, the cousins all talked Uncle Chris into bringing over their tent trailer to park outside. The Cousin Campouts really got an upgrade this year! The littles got to sleep out their one night too. They talked Tyler into sleeping out with them, and had a great time until about 3:00 AM when they heard (and saw) raccoons rummaging through the outside garbage cans. Then couldn't fall back to sleep and got "cold." I'm so glad I resisted and didn't let Charlotte sleep out there with them! Even though it was super sad to take her home bawling and screaming that night.... "I don't like to be the only kid at home. It's stupid!!"
And Wahooz!! A crowd favorite. We geared up and hit Wahooz hard one day. We were there for over 7 hours. No joke. The kids LOVED it! They hit all the usual highlights. Carson was tall enough this year to drive the smaller go-carts. He was super nervous and didn't really want to, but I pushed pretty hard for him to try it. He was crying when they began, but ended up having lots of fun! I think he even did them twice? It's all a bit of a blur.... It was a fun and exhausting day. Masen's absence was felt a lot of days, but definitely on the Wahooz day.
