Shortly after we recuperated from the 4th of July, it was time to head to Sandpoint! Our trip was earlier in the summer this year due to the Carlson's visit and cabin availability. So we packed up the car and road tripped it up North! Easy drive....kids were great. And yes, they now expect "car surprises" every time we make that drive. We got there and they were sooooo excited!! We headed right to the cabin and Grandma Lyn and Grandpa Tom met us there with dinner (so nice). It wasn't long before talks of getting in the lake were going (mostly by Aubrey and Brian). Aubrey and Carson decided they wanted to do their bath that night in the lake (brrrrrr)!! Charlotte of course thought that sounded like tons of fun (until I actually started to dip her in the water). The other two (well three) loved it, though and Aubrey even made it off the high dive that FIRST night....and so began our Sandpoint summer trip 2014!
