Christmas Adam & Christmas Eve

It's so fun when the kids start remembering traditions from year to year!  We were all excited for Christmas Adam.....soup in bread bowls at Grandma's, with the likely possibility of a visitor coming to bring us Christmas jammies!!
As I mentioned, Charlotte had been sick.  Well about 1 minute before our visitor rang the doorbell, Charlotte had an accident (aka, pooped her pants).  So Santa held off his big entrance until we could get her cleaned up and throw on her swim underwear that was still at Grandma's (no pants).  It was pretty hilarious when she saw him though.  She was definitely nervous.....she just sat there stone-faced.  She did go sit on his lap, but as you can even tell from the pictures, it was a quick visit!  Aubrey and Carson both hopped up excited to get their present (are we done with kids crying on Santa's lap?!).  And the Jensen cousins humored us once again!

The next day, Christmas Eve, is when Carson got sick! :(  So he and Brian sat this night out.  Aunt Jenn and I took all the kids to the family service at Friendship Celebration.  It was really nice.  Then we all headed over to my mom's for tamales!  After some yummy dinner we played a couple more rounds of Left, Right, Center.  We started the "tournament" on Christmas Adam.  My mom had gotten a bunch of prizes and wrapped them up for the winner to choose one each round.  There was some debate about whether or not prizes could be stolen, but after Aubrey was SOOOO excited to win and opened a $25 Amazon card, we decided it might get ugly to start stealing presents from the children!  But the game was really fun!  We ended up finishing (with everyone receiving a prize) on Christmas day.
Then we quick headed home, sprinkled our reindeer dust, and headed to bed so Santa could come!

And pictures taken sometime after Santa's visit.....
