November has been such a crazy, busy month!
It started with a girls' trip for me with some friends to Sun Valley......very fun! I think I'll skip posting any pictures from that wild night.....
The next weekend Grandma Lyn and Grandpa Tom came to visit. We had a great weekend with them and got to host an "early Thanksgiving."
The next weekend was my sister Mary's wedding! It's hard to believe that just a few short months ago Mary was in the hospital recovering from a terrible accident. Through it all she said she was keeping with her plan for a November wedding......and she did. She and Kyle got married in Salt Lake on Friday, November 18. So Aubrey and I took a (slightly less wild) girls' trip! They got married and had a dinner that night in Salt Lake. Mary looked absolutely beautiful, and I can't believe I didn't get ONE picture of her! Seriously, not one picture of Aubrey and I in SLC. Sad.
Then, all the family caravanned to Boise. We had such a fun week together.....such a treat since we normally don't get to see the cousins until summer (thanks Mary)! Then we topped the week off with an awesome Thanksgiving. There ended up being 29 of us for Thanksgiving dinner! It was the first Thanksgiving since we were kids that we were all together....at least 15ish years ago. The food was amazing. My brother deep fried 3 turkeys and my mom and grandma made 11 homemade pies......the rest of us pitched in with potatoes, stuffing, veggies, rolls, and salad. We ate until we couldn't eat anymore......it was great.
I'm so thankful this year for family, being healthy, having beautiful, healthy children, Mary's amazing recovery, and having a crazy, busy November.
