Christmas Eve

Since Grandma Lyn and Grandpa Tom were in town for Christmas Eve this year, we did things a little differently.  That morning everyone came over to our house for some present opening and playing!  The kids were VERY excited to get to open some presents and it was really nice that Tom and Lyn could be there for the kids opening them.  Each of the kids (that are old enough) got new scooters!  So, since there hasn't been one flake of snow yet this year, they got to go outside and take them for a test run!
Later that evening, Tom, Lyn, and cousin Brooklyn went with us to the family service at Friendship Celebration then we all went over to Scott and Jenn's for Christmas Eve dinner.  Very nice.
When we got home, the kids always get to open their presents from each other on Christmas Eve (I don't like them to get lost in the shuffle on Christmas day).  After that, we sprinkled our reindeer dust and left out our cookies and carrots for Santa and his reindeer.  I don't think Santa could come until pretty late, however, because Carson was still up after 10:00.....  I did manage to snap a quick picture after he came though.  YAY Christmas!!
