After sleeping hard for a few hours, we were up and ready to go again! It was our second day in the park, and we planned to spend the whole day at Disneyland (not park hop). We started off by hitting Tomorrowland (I could barely keep Brian and the kids out of it on the first day). We got the kids signed up to do the Jedi Training show later in the day, and then we hit the rides! They were all in heaven!! That is the thing I didn't expect about Disney, we as parents were having FUN! I knew the kids would have fun, but I honestly didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. When do you ever just PLAY with your kids all day....running from one exciting thing to the next?! Such good memories.
And Charlotte, what a trooper! Actually, all the kids! They were awesome! They wanted to do it all, and even through tired, hungry, hot conditions, they rallied. They were rockstars! And we ran them hard. Charlotte wanted to do every ride she was tall enough for (which was almost all of them)! She wasn't about to admit fear. And Carson, who I was a little worried about, was up for the challenge! He did every ride (with the exception of California Screamin') and loved them!! He still tells everyone that his favorite ride was Space Mountain (to sound cool), even though I'm pretty sure it was Big Thunder Mountain. And of course, Aubrey was Aubrey....easy, fun, and willing to try it all! And all the kids were so appreciative. They really knew that this was a big deal for our family, and were so grateful to be there. Good stuff!
The Jedi Training was ok. I think Aubrey and Carson felt a little too old for it. But I think they all had some fun, and got to say they battled Darth Vader! It also may have been a little for Brian...
Another super fun day!! We stayed until they kicked us out, stumbled to our hotel, and CRASHED again! Disneyland is not for the weak.
