Treat Deliveries and Christmas Program #2

This year for our treat deliveries we decided to keep it simple again and just make our "Funky Chunky Pretzels!"  We delivered to about 20 houses/families!  We did cheat a little this year though and took a bunch with us when we picked Aubrey up from school so we could deliver several to friends there.  But the kids loved it!
Aubrey was begging this year to "do the 12 days of Christmas!"  Not sure where she got the idea, but really wanted to do an activity each day/night leading up to Christmas.  So we put together a calendar of fun Christmas things we could do.  Most of it was stuff we would have done anyway, but actually it was kind of nice to space things out a little and to also make sure we didn't forget anything!  Have I mentioned I love Christmas!?!

The first grade at Aubrey's school put on a Christmas program this year!  She was soooo excited and sooooo nervous!  She had been practicing the songs for a month and of course knew them all, but was just really worried about being up there in front of all those people.  When the big day came though, I think she was mostly just excited.  Although after the program she told me when she first walked out she almost started crying she was so nervous!!  Poor thing. One perk of teaching at her school is I'm there a lot earlier than most parents, so we got nice front row seats.  And even though she was in the back row (no surprise) we could see her really well.  And she did great!  Way to go Aubrey!
