We had a BUSY Christmas vacation this year! Grandma Lyn and Grandpa Tom were in town, plus Mary and Kyle were still here. We had a fun game and doughnut making day at Grandma Thompson's, lots of dinners and playing at our house with G and G Evans and our Evans cousins (one night Aubrey even treated us to an "art show"), and Brian and I got to have a date night out courtesy of G and G Evans. We also bundled up and went to see the lights at the Botanical Gardens one night. It was really fun, the kids were having a blast, but DANG it was cold!!
We had lots of fun testing out Aubrey's new game for the Xbox Just Dance 4 and we even got to go to Wahooz one day with the Thompson/Perry and Jensen gang......FUN! A rare treat in the winter.
Then we ended our break with a New Year's party at the Seeger's house! We rang in the New Year with the east coast, and made it home to bed by about 11:00.....perfect.
It's been an amazing year.....2012 has been full of fun memories and lots of blessings. I am so grateful for the family and friends in my life. Here's to a happy, healthy, and exciting 2013!
