My children have been blessed with many wonderful traits. Nice, natural picture-smiles are not among those traits. Seriously. I always get a little nervous when school pictures roll around, because I never know what I'm going to get. When Aubrey brought home her first take, I did my best to look excited. I did gently inform her, however, that we should probably do retakes. So on retake day, I went with her and Carson both and made that photographer work for his money!! And look, darling (almost) natural looking smiles! And of course, just the sweetest, cutest kids!
Carson - 4 years old in Mrs. Sale's class at Friendship Celebration preschool. So far his favorite thing about 4 year old preschool is "the books that we write in." He's loving his handwriting book....would not have guessed that. He always has such a great time there and I'm so grateful for such a kind, loving, and stress-free preschool.
Aubrey - 6 years old in Ms. Unger's first grade class at Discovery Elementary. So far her favorite thing(s) about first grade are, "learning about new things like different kinds of families and frogs and stuff. And learning how to read because reading is fun. And meeting new people at recess. And doing fun projects like painting and art." After an adjustment period (LONG days), she is doing really well and loving being in first grade!
