Hawaii: Day 3

After the big hiking day, the next day we decided to take it a little easier.  We lounged poolside for a while, then went and rented snorkel gear and boogie boards for the week.  We tried out a snorkeling spot close by our resort.  It was pretty cool!  It was the first time I had been snorkeling, so it took me some getting used to.  I don't actually love fish and things swimming around so close to me!  But it was good.  Then we tested out our boogie boards for a while.  That was fun!  It's a fun way to be able to just hang out in the ocean a bit, and then fun to try and catch a wave back to shore.
After we showered up, we tried out a little taco restaurant (yum) and then hit a bar that was playing some live music and serving mai tia's!  We actually never stayed up very late the whole time we were there.  We were playing so hard during the days, that we crashed at nights!  Guess we really are turning 40...
