Carson also played in the Rush Select division. Brian coached his team (again). This season was kind of up and down for Carson. He still loves playing in the games, but started having real issues at practice. He REALLY tested Brian's patience this season. Brian has always been his coach, and it's never been a problem before....but this season was something else. He would just throw major fits at practice and refuse to do things. We ended up having to make Charlotte and me stay for practice so that if Brian had to kick him out, we could take him home. It was pretty bad. We never had to actually do it, but he definitely tested the limits. Brian is committed to coach again in the spring, but depending on how that season goes, this may be the end for him. We know Carson would never act like that for another coach. I guess we'll see.
But he mostly played his guts out in the games! He continues to be a strong player, and when he puts his mind to it, can be quite the little player! I think he had a fun season? He says he still wants to play. He actually got invited to play in the post-season All-Star game, and had a great time. And got to have a double-grandparent cheering section!
