The beginning of December also brings our favorite North Pole elf, Blizzard! The kids were super excited when he made his first appearance! Although, I have to say, Aubrey and Carson's excitement over Blizzard throughout the month waned a bit from years past. Sad! But Charlotte was still super into it. Of course we don't do anything too crazy....just easy and fun.
December also brought the MUCH looked-forward-to release of the new Star Wars movie!! Seriously, my husband and children have been watching trailers and talking about this for over a year. Brian took the day off the Friday it came out and went and saw it with some other fellow Star Wars nerds, and then we all went the next day. The kids were pumped....all wearing their Star Wars shirts. And they LOVED the movie! It was really fun to watch it all together and in a theater that was full of Star Wars fans...lots of cheering and gasping!
And a few days before the movie, we had a family game night challenge against the Seegers. Team Star Wars vs. the Seeger Squad. It was a heated match up, but I'm happy to say Team Star Wars came away with the WIN! :)
