How is it possible that another season of fall soccer is already over?! This was a bit of a different season for us.....we only had one kid playing! Aubrey decided to take the season off (I think she was mostly glad, although I do think she kind of missed it). It was really weird/nice to only have one practice a week and one game on Saturday! And the weather was awesome! We didn't have even one cold game! Usually the fall season starts really warm, but ends with snow/rain/wind/COLD. Not this year.....very pleasant. And Carson had a great season. They were on a bigger field this year and played 4 on 4. Carson is funny....he was either ON or NOT. When he really tried and played hard, he did awesome. When he wasn't super into it, he did not do awesome. Pretty typical I guess. Brian definitely had his work cut out for him. Trying to keep seven 5 year old's attention at practice, keeping the one screw-off from ruining the practice and/or game, letting the two daydreamers get playing time, and making it FUN for everyone! He did great. The boys and parents all love him. I do have to chuckle though as he gets just a small taste of what I deal with at school.... :)
Anyway, a great season! And now for Saturdays off! :)
