Aubrey's spring soccer season has also come to an end. She was part of the Purple Panthers again this spring. This was her fourth season with this team....plus and minus a few girls. Brian helped out as the assistant coach to Coach Barno again. Aubrey enjoyed the season and mostly had a really good time. However, with two practices per week and games every Friday and/or Saturday, she did get a little burned out as the season wore on. She actually decided toward the end of the season, that she isn't going to play next year. She wants to take a little break and try some different things. It was a little sad for us! Although I won't miss the time commitment I will be a little sad not to see her out there playing. But I do think it will be good for her to try some new things.
The season ended well, and she definitely grew as a player. If she ever wants to play again, I'm sure it will all come back to her! Great season Aubrey and the Purple Panthers! (I don't think Charlotte will be sad to miss watching two games every Saturday.....)
