Like most children's birthdays, we celebrated Aubrey's for over a week. It began on her actual birthday.....choice of eggs and cinnamon rolls for breakfast, dinner of pulled pork, yummy dessert, and opening a load of presents!!
This year was her year for a "friends party." She had to wait until the weekend after her birthday, and it was a looooong wait. She invited all the girls from her class, and seven of them could come (which was plenty). After school on a Friday, the girls came to my classroom for a quick snack. Then we loaded them up and headed to Jump Time! They jumped and played hard for an hour. It was the perfect time to be there too, because we had the place to ourselves! Then we loaded up again and headed to Louie's Pizza. We ordered some pizza, made some darling necklaces while we waited for our food, ate pizza, had cupcakes and ice cream cones, then opened another load of presents! It was really fun, and all the girls had a blast!
And Aubrey's birthday officially ends "birthday season" for our family (YAAAYYYY!). Just Brian's in July, but he and I don't really count. Happy birthday Aubrey Lou!
