Big Change

Many of you know that for the past couple months Carson has been able to climb out of his crib. He really tested it out for a couple long days and nights 3 months or so ago, but since then has not been climbing out at night. Well, a week or two ago it started up again (I knew it was too good to be true)! The only way to get him to stop coming out of his room (after being put to bed) is to hold the door shut so he can't get out. This upsets him, and then he pretty much stops trying. However, he wasn't able to climb back IN his crib very well. So, last weekend we decided to just give up. We took the front off his crib, and he now has a BIG BOY BED!! After several nights and naps in it, I can report that it is going GREAT! He absolutely loves it, and we haven't had any problems with him getting out when he's supposed to be going to sleep. Yay Carsey!! Isn't it funny how we can just be dreading something, and keep putting it off and putting it off, and then it turns out to not be a big deal at all.



He also loves that he has a "new tramp" in his room......oh boy!

He looks SO big with his little pillow and covers.....
