One weekend in October, Tom and Lyn came into town. The weather was absolutely beautiful! We had a great visit.....baked some pies, the boys golfed (unfortunately my husband won the trophy back), watched some soccer, went out to dinner and just enjoyed some good quality time!
A couple other note-worthy "events"...
After 8 long weeks, Aubrey got to change her earrings! She got on FaceTime with Ella and Ruby and they all put in new earrings! :)
All my kids got Hand Foot and Mouth Disease. It was a really, really terrible week. Aubrey and Charlotte got it the worst. Aubrey missed 3 days of school. The sores inside Charlotte's mouth were so terrible looking. She could hardly eat or talk. She kept trying to eat and would just scream in pain. She also couldn't suck her fingers with all those sores in there. And although it was really rough, when the sores finally went away, she had broken the finger-sucking habit!!!! She doesn't suck her fingers and twirl her hair anymore!! Definitely the highlight of HFM Disease.
