The team Aubrey was on last year scattered...some girls moved, some went to different organizations, and some just didn't return. But there was Aubrey, her friend Addison, and one other girl left. So they put a bunch of other stragglers together and made a team. It was a pretty rough season. Several of the girls had never played soccer and they just never quite came together. They actually lost every game....and lost pretty badly. Aubrey played pretty well. She has some good skills and when she puts her mind to it, can really play well. She still struggles to be as aggressive and confident as some other players. She actually played goalie quite a bit this season and loved it! There were only a few girls on the team that "dared" play goalie, so Aubrey played at least a quarter every game. She did really well! And as you can tell from the red face on the last game, the weather held out beautifully! And despite the losing record, she still had a good time and really enjoyed playing! She wants to play again in the spring, we're just not sure with who! But for now, Go Cosmos!
