Carson had a fun-filled birthday and birthday party this year! After his birthday breakfast of eggs and cinnamon muffins, he got to open some presents first thing! Then off to school. He got to be snack helper that day. After school, he and all his preschool friends went to Pinz for his first ever friend party! It was really fun (and sooo easy). They bowled, ate pizza, had cake and ice cream, played arcade games, played lazer tag (only 4 of the friends dared to play!), traded in tickets for prizes, and we left about 3 hours later.....exhausted and happy! After a little down time, we picked up Aubrey from her school. They were both a little sad when I told them we were doing Carson's party on a school day at 11:30 because then of course Aubrey couldn't come. But I think it worked out really well....we were about the only people at Pinz and Wahooz, plus it gave Carson a chance to just be with his friends without his big sister trying to run the show! :)
After his birthday dinner of bambino pie, Aubrey and Brian headed off to soccer practice. (It's the only practice Carson has missed this season.....just couldn't tear himself away from all his new toys!) Then after soccer, he opened the rest of his presents, and off to bed! It was a really fun day, and I think he loved every minute of it!
