Pumpkin Patch x2

It is officially fall.....and that means what else but the Pumpkin Patch!!  Carson had his preschool field trip to Linder Farms last week.  It was on one of my teaching days, so Brian got to go this year.  And like a good dad, he took along Charlotte to share in the fun!  Uncle Scott was there too with Brooklyn and Isla.  It was reported to me that a good time was had by all.

Then last weekend, we decided to take a family trip to a different pumpkin patch that we'd never been to before.  Aubrey was feeling a little left out.  The Farmstead is more of a carnival-type of pumpkin patch instead of a farm.....it was lots of fun!  Some highlights:  the corn cannon, the pig races (Charlotte is still talking about those piggies!), the kids' play area, the corn maze (we did not find our way out following the rules and it made me a little sick to my stomach), the jumping "pillow" (not a highlight for Carson, however), the "Creature" (and no, we did not venture inside for fear of nightmares for a month), the cow train, the hayride, and of courses picking out our new BIG pumpkins!  Good family fun.  And in case you're wondering, no it was not actually warm enough to wear shorts.
