And finally, after bawling on the sidelines and wearing an old jersey to every game of Aubrey's last year, little man got his turn!! Again it's been a torturous couple weeks waiting for the day to come, but at last the wait is over. I also started to get very curious as to how it would go. He did great!! He wasn't the super pushy obnoxious kid, but also wasn't picking weeds or crying on his mom's lap (between both teams there was at least one of each). He played well, scored some goals, and had a blast! Go Green Machines! :)

Aubrey's game wasn't until 2:30 that afternoon.....talk about HOT!! This fall soccer season is so weird. It's starts out super hot, then by the last games it's freezing and/or snowing!

Aubrey moved up a division this year and is on an all-girls team. They now play 4 on 4 (instead of 3 on 3) and the games are now 45 minutes (instead of 20). She has of course been super excited. Her team now also has practice once a week.....which she loves. Brian is her assistant coach, so he's plenty busy. Even though they still don't keep score, Aubrey's team got beat pretty badly on Saturday.....we're hoping this isn't a trend. The good news is Aubrey (or really any of the girls) didn't seem to notice too much. Aubrey played well. She still isn't real aggressive, but was getting in there and really trying. She had several great kicks and had a blast! Go Blue Stars! :)
When we showed up for the game, the other team had the same light blue jerseys, so we were yellow for the day.
She's taking her water break. They only have 5 girls on the team, so they don't sit out a whole lot.

I keep forgetting to ask you about Carson's first game. Looks like it was a hit! Fun...experiencing mom guilt though that Norah still hasn't played!! Maybe this spring...
