What a Month!!

I can't believe it's already been one month since sweet Charlotte joined our family! We are all slowly adjusting to life with THREE children. I am again realizing that to shower, do a load of laundry, and cook 3 meals is a full day's work. I'm also remembering the feeling of "mom guilt" that I simply can't do it all and don't have quite the same amount of time with Aubrey and Carson as we're used to. And although some days the thought that this is the last time I'll be going through the newborn phase brings me great comfort, some days it makes me quite sad. But that could just be the hormones talking! And oh ya, the sleep deprivation. You just can't prepare for it, and it can really be overwhelming some days. But lately Brian and I are stringing together 7ish hours of sleep each night.....so I guess not too bad?! That sounded like a lot of complaining......but we're also really enjoying this change in our family and our sweet baby!

Aubrey and Carson seem to have adjusted very well. They've maybe been a little whiny at times and needed a little extra attention some days, but all in all they've done great. They both adore Charlotte, and give LOTS of hugs and kisses every day. The second I set her down somewhere they are both by her side (okay, in her face) talking to her and "playing" with her. They have loved watching her grow and change this month!

What a lucky girl to have such a wonderful brother and sister!

Two weekends ago, Grandma Lyn and Grandpa Tom came into town to meet Charlotte and see everyone. It was so nice to see them and have some great entertainment for the kids!
Hanging out with cousin Brooklyn.
Our future?
It was even nice enough to play outside one day while they were here.

All of us!

Grandma and Grandpa with their 5 grandkids!

And here is our sweet baby Charlotte throughout the month.....
We have all fallen in love! She is a happy little baby so far. She mostly only cries if she wants something.....nice and laid back so far. She sleeps pretty well......good naps most days and just gets up once in the night to eat (not bad). She eats well so far. I have been so paranoid that she is going to have Reflux like the other two kids. Some days I think we're home free and she doesn't have it, and then other days she spits up a lot, acts like her tummy hurts, and nurses terribly.......I really don't know if I can nurse another baby with Reflux......
No diagnosis yet, keep your fingers crossed for us!!
Just look how precious she is....

Last weekend my sister Kacee came from Texas to visit! It was SO fun having her here! The kids had a blast with "fun Aunt Kacee" and Miss Charlotte was very glad to meet her.

And again, it's so nice when the kids have some good, quality entertainment! It really helps ease the "mom guilt." We were all sad to see her go.....

And here is our girl on her ONE MONTH birthday! Like I said, what a month!
