The last morning we were at the cabin, Aubrey and Carson woke up early to a bit of a storm brewing. They noticed that some big waves were rolling in, so they threw their suits on and jumped in! I was actually still in bed and could hear them just squealing and screaming like crazy. They were having so much fun!
We then went for one last walk (and photo opp) around the cabin before we packed up and headed to spend the last night at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Brian and I got tickets to see a concert at the Festival. We went with some friends to see Trampled by Turtles and The Devil Makes Three. It was really fun, and a good last night!
The next morning we headed out early. The route we usually drive was closed because of a fire, so we had to drive through Idaho (windy roads). The only bonus is that we got to take the kids through the U of I campus and show them some of the highlights of Moscow!
We made it home fairly quickly, and by the next day the vacation hangover/laundry nightmare was in full effect.
But such a fun trip, as always, and so thankful we get to spend time at such an amazing place that our kids absolutely love!!
