My mom talked my brother Blake into bringing his twins Bryce and Blaine from North Carolina to stay and play for a week! My kids were super excited to get to hang with their cousins that they don't get to see as often. Unfortunately, my kids were still in school (our spring breaks didn't quite line up), but we made the most of the time we had.....and I had them skip a fair amount of school. :)
B & B were here over St. Patrick's Day and my children introduced them to "leprechaun traps!" (You're welcome Blake.) But they had a blast making their traps, and although no one caught a leprechaun they were all left golden treats. The leprechauns that came to our house were quite tricky and put a hex bug in one of our traps....it really had the kids going for a bit (and totally freaked Charlotte out)!
We had such a fun week though....we hit Wahooz hard one day and Aubrey won 1,000 tickets! Wow, that took a while to pick out all those prizes. We went to the aquarium, we went swimming, went out to lunch A LOT, and we had a sleepover complete with glowing balloons! The kids really enjoyed getting to know their cousins a little more and we hope we get to play again soon!!
