After Carson's birthday, my birthday (which doesn't really count) and before Aubrey's birthday, we slipped in Easter! We dyed eggs, which turned out awesome! The kids all wanted to sleep together in Aubrey's bed. It lasted until about 1:00 AM, at which time Charlotte called Brian to move her into her own bed because "the kids are taking all my blankets!"
While they slept, the Easter bunny came through and delivered lots of fun goodies to their baskets (this year he brought nice baskets/containers which will come in very handy for toy organization). He also hid lots of eggs for them to find! They had a nice, relaxing morning trying out all their new things.
Then we decided to go to the Easter service at Friendship Celebration church. They had a little egg hunt for the kids and then a nice service. Side note that's too funny not to share: During the service (after we'd already done the egg hunt outside and been in church for about 30 minutes) while sitting on Brian's lap, Charlotte raises her legs up into the air to reveal that she is in fact NOT wearing any underwear! Full frontal. I about had a heart attack. Luckily we had an extra pair in the car, so she and Brian ran outside to make her a little more decent.
After church, lunch, and naps we headed over to my mom's. The kids got to do another super fun egg hunt! And we enjoyed some delicious Easter dinner and great company. Fun day!
