Aubrey's front teeth had been loose for a little while. But a couple days before Thanksgiving, she noticed that one of them was getting really loose! Her cousin Ella and her were on Skype one day and realized that they both had a really loose tooth. So they made it a contest to see who could pull their tooth first. When we got the text a couple days later that Ella had pulled her tooth, Aubrey was so bummed, but determined to pull her tooth that day "so it could kinda be a tie." After about an hour of drama in the bathroom with her dad (yes, I still refuse to pull or even really look at a super wiggly tooth), it came out!!! The first picture is our text to Ella. So for a couple days she had one front tooth....it looked so weird!!
After the first front tooth came out, all of a sudden the second front tooth became super loose. She worked and worked on that thing. It was Grandma Lyn and Grandpa Tom's last night in town, and she REALLY wanted it to come out before they left! She probably spent 45 minutes in the bathroom just working that tooth. And she did it!! She really wanted to run right out and yell, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!" However, Brian suggested she clean the dripping blood off herself first. She was pretty excited. It's been so weird to see her without those teeth!! My little Monkey!!
