First Snow and Thanksgiving Day

The first snow of the season seemed to come a little early this year. The kids, however, were SUPER excited to get out there and play!!

Not bad.....although I don't think you're supposed to see grass.....

Carson wasn't quite sure what to make of the snow at first.....

It may not have been much snow, but they had a blast playing!!
(The real storm came a couple days later.)

And of course, the best part about playing in the snow......coming in for hot chocolate after!!

About a week later, it was Thanksgiving! Grandma Lyn and Grandpa Tom came into town, so we had a whole weekend of fun!

Here we are on Thanksgiving day making name plates for the Thanksgiving table.

I thought they turned out very cute! We had Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Thompson's house this year. As usual the food was DELICIOUS and we ate way too much!!

After dinner, the kids played a game to try and find the most hidden turkeys around the house (thanks Masen for hiding all those turkeys)! Here are the kids after collecting their prizes.....
