Not that baby......our new car! As part of making room for Evans baby #3, we needed a bigger family car. After realizing we wanted to go big (not just a little bigger), we searched and searched. We were pretty sure we wanted an Expedition, then we just needed to find the right combination of miles, exterior color, interior color, etc, etc. This took a while! But we finally found it. A couple weeks ago we made the purchase, a 2008 Ford Expedition. The kids have named it R2D2. (Carson is obsessed with Star Wars.....thanks a lot Brian, and Aubrey wanted to name it after something that is gray. So far I'm LOVING it! There's so much room, and it's so pretty......
We saw this car on our search a while ago, but never considered it because it had cloth seats (a deal-breaker for us with small children). However, when we talked to the salesman he said they had a guy who reupholsters cars. They offered to let us pick out new leather seats (for the same price)! Sold! I love the color we chose. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the seats are a darker grayish-brown.
And look, plenty of room for one more car seat in the middle! Not to mention, the entire back row!
Bedroom, check. Car, check. What's left to do before our little one arrives???
