We're Exhausted!

What a summer!! I am SO far behind on posting our adventures, so I'm going to try and catch up..... one post at a time!
After we got home from Sandpoint (yes that was early July), my sister-in-law Erin came into town with her 3 year-old twins Bryce and Blaine. We had been so excited for them to come visit! It was Bryce and Blaine's first trip to Boise. Carson hasn't seen them since he was 4 months old! They were here for two weeks, and then my brother Blake came to join the fun for another two weeks. We had the best time. We were on the go every day with activities, outings, playing, swimming, eating, and more playing! It was so nice to get to spend some real time with Erin and Blake and for the kids to really get to know each other. My kids are still asking when Bryce and Blaine are coming back to stay at Grandma's!

Here is some of what we did.....

Lots of playing and eating at Grandma's house!
Our trip to Eagle Island State Park.

Carson and Blaine going for a ride in the raft.

Aubrey getting buried in the sand.......

and relaxing in her tube.....

Now it's Aubrey's turn on a boat ride with Uncle Blake. Can you tell by the way she is stuck to her cousin Colbie that she was a little nervous??

But she did end up having a good time!

For Brian's birthday, he bought the kids a new pool for the backyard. They had a blast playing in it!!

Here we are on a trip up to Lucky Peak. Does that water ever warm up?
A friend invited us out to her farm in New Plymouth. The kids were not crazy about the smell, but they had a great time!
This was by far Carson's favorite part of the day!

We all bought season passes to Roaring Springs this summer, so we spent lots of days there swimming, sliding, splashing, and of course drinking icees!

Aubrey and Blaine were little buddies for the month they were here. They are both a little more mild-mannered than their sibling, Bryce or Carson, so all Aubrey talked about was wanting to sit by Blaine, or play with Blaine, or go with Blaine. Meanwhile Bryce and Carson were off somewhere running around like crazy people, hitting, pushing, and yelling at each other!

Aubrey introducing Bryce and Blaine to tea parties!

A day at Planet Kid. Look at all those balls.....Carson is in heaven!

Story time with Aunt Erin.

Thanks Uncle Blake for driving us around on the four-wheeler (again)!

Lots of baths and showers together! So sweet.
After almost four weeks of fun, the next set of cousins arrived! My sister Kacee and her kids overlapped their visit by a couple days so we could have a few days of pure cousin chaos!
Man, there's a lot of kids in that hot tub (and yes, it is about 90 degrees out)!

Little Ruby testing out the chocolate fountain.....I think it's a hit!

Picnic at the park. I don't' want to see another peanut butter & jelly or nutella sandwich for a LONG time!

An evening out for snow cones and playing.
They all got SOAKED in this fountain!

It was such a great July!!

Stay tuned for more summer adventures.......
