Christmas Eve! We had such a fun day. We started it off by taking the kids sledding at Kleiner Park. It was not a super original idea, but we had a blast! So much snow!!
When we got back home, our elf Blizzard had left us his goodbye note....he's off to the North Pole until next year! Always a little sad...
Then after some showers and warm baths, the kids opened their presents from each other. One of my favorite Christmas traditions!! They are always so excited to give their little dollar store presents that they've picked out for each other.....and they are so sweet about giving lots of thanks and hugs when they open the gifts. I LOVE this age!!!
After some down time, we headed out to Caldwell to try something new..... Instead of doing tamales at my mom's, we went out to dinner at a yummy Mexican restaurant and then over to look at the lights we'd heard about in Caldwell. It was super fun! It was freezing cold, but we all bundled and the lights were super cool and the kids could just run around. It was fun! Might be a new tradition.... Plus it got us home in time to spread our reindeer dust, set out cookies, milk, and carrots, and get to bed so that Santa could come!! I love Christmas Eve.
