Aubrey wanted an ice cream cake for her birthday this year. I found a recipe that uses ice cream sandwiches as layers and loaded it up with cool whip, chocolate and caramel, and crushed up Reese's peanut butter cups. Oh yum. We invited the fam over for cake and present opening. And how about that darling card from Carson! He wrapped up plastic spoons because of some inside joke they have about getting plastic spoons as a present? She was excited about her clothes and suit case we gave her....she sort of expected the suit case since it seemed to be a theme with the kids' birthdays this year (although they don't know why yet....) And the big surprise, a new cruiser bike from both her grandparents! I love the look on her face when Grandpa first wheeled it out. It was a fun birthday evening!
