Aubrey and Carson just finsished up their swimming lessons. I signed them up at a new place this year.....Louise Larkin at Learn to Swim. Miss Louise was really awesome! The kids really liked her and she worked so well with them.
Aubrey was in Level 3 and made great progress! She was working on the "beginner stroke" and can now swim the length of the pool (the long way), is very comfortable underwater, can back float a looooong ways, can dive, and is just having a lot of fun swimming this summer!
I put Carson in the beginner class, Level 1. It was pretty obvious he was a lot more comfortable in the water than most of the class, but I think he still made really good progress! He is now working on the "beginner stroke" and when he can put it all together he really moves! He can hold his breath for a long time! He is also a lot more comfortable in the pool and now only wants to swim without his lifejacket (which scares his mother).
They are both doing really well and are LOVING to be in the pool! Thanks Miss Louise! On the last day of class they got to get out all the "toys" and have some play time....which they loved.
Charlotte and I were not too sad when the three week session of swimming lessons came to a close. She's hard to keep contained these days!! Luckily her friends Caroline and Ivy were there to keep her company.

Holy smokes! You've been a busy poster! Your swimming lesson pictures turned out great, although is makes me sweat just to look at them.
