Happy Halloween

Halloween has also come and gone. Another fun year! Aubrey decided to be Wonder Woman (so awesome), Carson wanted to be a knight and a guard (not sure how close we came), and Charlotte got to be a darling flower!
We started off the Halloween festivities by going to Boo at the Zoo. The kids had a lot of fun collecting some candy, seeing all the kids in costumes (I'm pretty sure most of Boise and Meridian were there), looking at the animals, running around, and getting their faces painted. Fun!
Attempting a picture with all three in costume.....
Seriously, look at her in that flower costume!
Next up was painting pumpkins! They looked fabulous again this year! I do feel a little bad that we painted them while Charlotte was napping, but didn't want to attempt baby painting.....
And finally, the big night!! The kids were beyond excited. We snapped a few pictures then went to meet Scott, Jenn, Brooklyn, and Isla for some trick or treating. They had a blast. It was a little chilly, but not too bad. After we wore out Brooklyn, we headed home to put Charlotte to sleep. Once again she was such a trooper......up late, cold, but never complained a bit. Then Brian, Aubrey and Carson hit up our neighborhood. They passed out candy at our house for a bit, then off to a late bedtime! It was kinda weird having Halloween on a Monday....school the next day. But it was super nice that I didn't have to work that day. First time in 11 years of teaching that I didn't have to put on a Halloween party at school!
Anyway, a fun fun day.
Dad's "costume." Doesn't Charlotte look embarrassed?! :)
Again, the dad's embarrassing the poor girls. I love how they are looking at each other in disgust.
