A week or two ago, we took the kids sledding for the first time! We went with some friends to a great little spot outside Banks (about an hour drive......close to where we went Christmas tree hunting). We had a great time! Both kids were a little unsure at first......okay, crying and terrified is more like it. But after going down once (with either me or Brian of course), they couldn't wait to go again and again and again. I forgot how exhausting sledding can be......hiking up the hill carrying the sled in one arm and a kid in the other! After a couple runs down one of the smaller hills, we ventured up to the top of the biggest hill. Aubrey and Carson wanting nothing to do with that, so they just played in the snow......I think they liked that best.
I'm ready....

Okay, I think they're finally worn out! They were asleep in the car 10 minutes after we left.....

what great pictures! did you end up getting a new camera? looks like it was a lot of fun.
I had the same camera question! The pictures are great. And my kids are so jealous!! Tyler just said, "Can we go there? This winter?" Sorry buddy...we live in Texas. But it looks like it was a lot of fun!
