5 things you don't know about Aubrey:
- She is currently cutting all four of her 2 year molars. Enough said? She is going to just finish up about the time Carson starts!
- She is going through a real "Daddy phase" right now. Every morning when I go to get her up she asks, "Is Daddy home today?" When I say, "No, he's at work....it's just us today" she starts crying. Ouch! Sometimes I really wish I got to be the "fun parent!"
- Her favorite cartoon of the moment is Care Bears. It's on every Saturday and Sunday morning. Those Care Bears have sure come a long way! Could they always fly?
- She still sleeps with a binky. Okay, I am a little embarrassed to admit this. I'm sure I'm being judged right now by someone. I know, I know, it's time to give it up....she is completely potty trained, as tall as most 3 and 4 year-olds, and talks in complete sentences. Maybe when I can get Carson to sleep through the night, we'll tackle the binky......I'm so scared!
- She just got her first "big girl hair cut." She has had her hair trimmed before, but we've been waiting for over two years for the front to grow enough so we could cut off the baby mullet. The time finally arrived. No more mullet! Isn't it darling?

- Just starting a brand new relationship with this hot guy I worked with....Brian Evans!
- Recovering from tuning 21 in April!
- Just starting my student teaching in a first grade classroom at Otis Orchard Elementary in Spokane, Washington.
5 places I've lived:
- Ogden, UT....born and raised.
- Moscow, ID......Go Vandals!
- Durango, CO......thanks Keith Harper. By the way, Hailey how did we ever survive that disgusting house....our mattress had no sheets!
- Knoxville, TN.....another summer adventure. Angie, I'll never look at a hotel room the same again!
- Boise, ID.....actually Meridian, ID now. We love it!
5 things on my to-do list today:
- Take a shower. Check. (It had been a while!)
- Take Aubrey to get her hair cut. Check.
- Tackle the laundry pile. In progress.....maybe that's why I finally decided to sit down and update our blog!
- Go shopping to get Aubrey and Brian clothes to wear in our family picture tomorrow. Not yet....waiting for sleeping children to wake up. Do you ever feel that your life is controlled by nap schedules?
- Dust. It's my Friday chore and I didn't do it yesterday....we'll see if it happens today.
5 jobs I've had: (Last one, I promise....and this really is shortened from the original "tag.")
- Fast-food grunt at Arby's.....I was 15 and just happy for my $200 paycheck each month.
- Ice cream scooper at Baskin Robbins....loved that job (all except for the visor and crazy boss.....seriously, he would tape record our conversations when he wasn't there!)
- T-shirt silk screener at The Shirt off my Back in Durango.
- Server in the Convention Center at the University Inn.....I sure miss those fake tuxedos.
- Waitress at O'Michael's Bar and Grill.....great money, horrible old, drunk men! Alycia, do you ever miss it?
- Teacher....eighth year teaching third grade. I'm not sure who is harder to control....a bar full of drunk, seriously-old men, or 28 eight year-olds. I'm teaching part-time this year and loving it! (I know that was 6 jobs, but I had to show that all those jobs I had to pay my way through college paid off!)

First off, did you just call Kacee and my nerdy? Love the haircut! Can't believe you guys didn't have sheets, it grossed me out then and I still think about it from time to time. Can't wait to see the new fam pics! Good luck with that one!!
I love Aubrey's new do! It looks great. I DON'T miss O'Michael's, but thanks for inquiring... Thanks so much for tagging Norah, I don't know how I will ever repay you. Perhaps I can come up with something. HMMMMM.
I think she DID call us nerdy, Missy. I'm personally offended. Aubrey's hair is darling. Today is Ella's big day! I hope I don't chicken out. Oh, and I'm quite certain that Care Bears have always been able to fly. They've always been cool.
Oh I am still grossed out and visit the place from time to time and not much has changed. You just gave me a good blog idea!!
Oh my gosh! Seriously, had to laugh out loud at the hotel comment. Could that be a truer statement? I always, no fail, ask for a clean set of sheets when I check into a hotel. Sick and wrong. We were so-o-o gross!
